The Breda 20mm can engage vehicles, infantry and aircraft, but with weak power. Its role as an AA gun could only be effective with masses of these pieces placed in woods or cities for an ambush. The Breda's firepower is very weak, and one alone can't take out a single bomber before it can deliver its payload. It is far better to use them in towns, city squares and forests and in large numbers.
Strategies and Tactics
- Placing a few in woods or town squares conceals the anti-aircraft gun and allows enemy planes to come closer before being shot out of the sky.
- Placing several in a small area will surely decimate any aircraft and light infantry that want to come close enough.
