R.U.S.E. Wiki

The British anti-tank position is armed with a 57 mm ordnance QF 6-pounder anti-tank gun. A similar fortification was used by the Americans.

This anti tank position will prove vital in the early stages of the game, but mid-late game is where the enemy's better armed and armored units will show their teeth. Also, the anti tank position is vulnerable from the air; a good bombing run could shatter it, so it would be wise to protect it with an anti-aircraft position and/or anti-aircraft gun.

Strategies and Tactics

  • Place this near forests or cities.
  • Place near key locations like HQ, Secondary HQ, Airfields, etc.
  • Place near rivers.
  • Place near 'choke' points.
  • Place near bridges.
  • Never rely on these positions as defense, always have units or other support as backup.
  • Can be simple to counter with Armoured Howitzers or Assault Guns
  • Its recommended to place a machine gun position nearby to prevent infantry from destroying them.
