Crude, tough and easy to conceal, the 47mm packs a punch that most tanks would mostly avoid, the AT 47mm is an improvement on the AT 25mm and was one of the best AT guns that entered the war. Mass producing of this gun is advised, as any tanks or infantry that cuts through this otherwise impenetrable barrier could destroy the guns with minimal activity. Protecting these guns with infantry and light-medium vehicles may buy some time for the AT 47mm to retreat.

Tactics[]

Just like any other anti-tank unit, once concealed in forests they pose a great threat against enemy armor. Since this AT unit is quite advanced for so early in the war, only one or two can hold off several enemy medium tanks. Also important to remember is that these guns are fragile against infantry; always keep some friendly infantry close.

Pros and Cons[]

+The bias nature of the game means this 47mm gun is equal with guns as Pak-40, ZiS-3, 17-pdr. and M5. While the Italian gun of same caliber is somewhat limited to light status.

+The gun does not replace the 25mm, leaving the player with economical flexibility and utility.
